A Stefan Motz side project · Prototype v0.1
Swipe through books worth knowing. Read a quick introduction, listen while the words are highlighted, and open the full summary when something catches your curiosity.
This first prototype uses a small hand-picked catalog while I shape the discovery experience.
Why I Am Building This
I grew up loving books, later created Globusz Publishing to make ebooks easier to find, and spent more than a decade formatting and publishing books online. The old project is gone, but my interest never disappeared.
In retirement I want to return to that unfinished interest in a different form: not simply putting books online, but helping people discover them, understand them, listen to them, and perhaps find one that quietly changes the direction of their lives.

Each recommendation should help you find a book that might genuinely matter to you.
Read a substantial introduction, see why the book matters, then decide whether you want the complete work.
The prototype includes browser narration with synchronized word highlighting where the browser provides speech boundaries.
Books are connected by themes, life impact, mood, and ideas—not only by bookstore genre labels.
Where This Is Going
The next stages are Project Gutenberg metadata ingestion, source-grounded AI summaries, quality review, recommendation signals, saved libraries, generated narration with reliable timestamps, and Amazon purchase links where useful.
